The National Asian American Telecommunications Association (NAATA) is pleased to have been a longtime supporter of PICTURE BRIDE. In addition to providing production funds, NAATA hosted the film's West Coast premiere at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. NAATA is pleased to present the national public television premiere of PICTURE BRIDE with Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC).

PICTURE BRIDE was an official selection of the Un Certain Regard (A Special Look) section of the 1994 Cannes Film Festival and received the Audience Award for Best Dramatic Film at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival.
