Seminar 1: Apples, Oranges and/or Cherries

This roundtable of savvy independent filmmakers and informative representatives from public television and commercial cable entities will evaluate some of the advantages and disadvantages of the various avenues and channels for funding work and getting it out to the audience.

Confirmed panelists include filmmakers Arthur Dong, Allie Light and Irving Saraf, and Steven Okazaki. Public television is represented by Cheryl Head, Project Development Officer at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and Alyce Myatt, V.P. Programming for PBS (Midwest) who are joined by Azon Juan from MTV News and Documentaries.
