Few could argue that Asian Americans are well-represented in the mainstream American film and television industry. However, these talented and creative individuals provide more than just a glimmer of hope that Asian American talent can exist beyond martial arts heroes, orientalized sex objects and quota-filling extras. Award winning directors and actors relate the joys and tribuations of the creative process in front of and behind the camera.
